To Whom It May Concern:
After
seeing the Fairs MI product at the WFA Convention, I was eager to use
it at my fair. I had the information,
but with all the major projects going on here at the Yolo County Fair I didn't
get back to it until last month. I have the pleasure of having Lori Southerlend
(one of the Executive Development Candidates) here, and had her evaluate
the program for our use. I wish I had done it sooner!
When I
saw my staff gathered around the monitor as it was demonstrated to them, I
knew I had to get on board. The ideas for its use flew back and forth
and there were a few even I hadn't thought of.
Besides
the obvious uses as a commercial layout tool, our interim events coordinator
jumped on it and is planning to offer layout design services to our
customers.(We are a small fair but our customers are getting more sophisticated
every year.) The exhibits staff, which has been with the fair for over 50
years, also saw opportunities to use it in the livestock area for stall
assignments and exhibitor information. The real key is that it is very
easy to learn.
Steven
has been great about answering questions, as well as providing training as it
is needed. We are able to tell him what we need, and if it is not’t already available,
he
is able to create the tools as we work on setting up the program
for our use.
This is a great program and will
improve the productivity of your office staff. Think of having all
of your information in one place accessible to anyone in the office.
It even has administration functions to limit who can make changes to a layout.
Marketing can use it for banner placement and signage during an event. You can
publish your layouts for public viewing where exhibitors can see
their location choices. Potential sponsors will also be able to see
signage layouts on your website.
I'm sure you'll think of more once
you use it,
